She has previously worked at ELKEDE Technology & Design Centre SA at its Quality Department and the Quality Control Laboratory, in charge of the Product Certification Office, as well as a researcher for the Environment department. During that period, she prepared the Certification Quality System for Accreditation assessment according to the EN45011 standard and has served as an Assistant Quality Manager for the Quality Control Laboratory. Her work at the Laboratory included the coordination of the internal laboratory quality control in the scope of the accreditation of the Laboratory according to EN ISO 17025. Since 2017, she is a project manager for CRE.THI.DEV., in several EU and nationally funded projects, dealing with an extensive range of subjects, such as food, leather, environmental issues and climate change in particular, with a focus on training, research and quality issues. Her portfolio now includes projects such as Fostering Academia-Industry Collaboration in Food Safety and Quality (FOODQA), Innovation for the Leather Industry in Jordan and Egypt (INNOLEA), Innovations in Water Education Programs: Enhancing Water Security & Socio-economic Development in the E. Med. under Climate Change (WaSEC), and Establishment of Leather Hubs in Russia and Mongolia (LEATHUB).
